    Garfield came packaged in a simple black plastic jar with clear labeling and the strain name front and center. Nothing flashy, but clean and professional. Labs are included via QR code, which is always appreciated. It does exactly what it needs to do and keeps the flower fresh.

Appearance & Structure

    The buds landed in the medium-size range, with a mix of slightly larger and smaller nugs. They lean denser than fluffy but aren’t rock hard — there’s still some give when you squeeze them.

    Color-wise, this flower looks great. A solid medium green base with plenty of reddish-orange pistils that really pop against the bud. Frost coverage is strong, with an even dusting of trichomes across the entire surface. Trim quality is good but not perfect — a few small leaves and minor stems could’ve been cleaned up, but overall it keeps a natural, hand-trimmed look that fits well with local craft flower.

Freshness & Breakdown

    Moisture sits right in the sweet spot. Not overly sticky, not dry — it sticks lightly to the fingers without gumming up the grinder. When broken down, the flower fluffed up nicely, ground easily, and stayed consistent with no clumping or seeds.

Aroma

    As soon as the jar was cracked, a wave of old-school gas hit the nose. Loud, skunky, and unapologetic. There’s a classic funk layered underneath the gas that gives it some depth instead of being one-note.

    Once broken down, the gas got even louder while the funk smoothed out a bit. If you’re a fan of traditional gassy profiles, this one delivers exactly what you’re looking for.

Flavor & Burn

    Smoked in a joint using Raw Black papers, Garfield stayed true to its aroma. The inhale is gas-heavy with a slight funky edge, while the exhale leans more purely into that classic fuel profile as the funk fades back.

    Burn quality was solid — salt-and-pepper ash, a light oil ring, and very smooth pulls throughout the session. No harshness, no irritation, just an easy and enjoyable smoke.

Effects

    Effects kicked in around the 10-minute mark. Mentally, Garfield brings a nice balance — a stoney pressure behind the eyes paired with a mellow euphoria that keeps things pleasant without being overwhelming.

    The body effects lean calming and relaxing, making this a great choice for mid-day wind-downs or nighttime use. It doesn’t immediately knock you out, but it definitely sets the tone for slowing things down.

Final Thoughts

    What really stood out with Garfield was how classic and loud the gas profile is. This feels like a throwback strain done right — familiar, bold, and well-executed. It smokes cleaner and smoother than a lot of comparable local flower, and the flavor profile is unique enough to make it worth revisiting.

    If you’re local to Chattanooga or just someone chasing that old-school gassiness, Garfield is an easy recommendation. It’s absolutely something I’d pick up again.

    Blueberries! Imagine breaking open a beautiful round nug while being met with a medley of subtle fruit smells and light gassy notes. This offering from Farm To Med is a bag appeal monster with noticeably well developed trichomes! Its large nug structure and varying shades of green with orange hairs made Blueberries a must try for me.
