Pure Canna Co - Cherry Poppers

This sample arrived in one of Pure Canna Co's now unmistakably designed pucks. It's beautifully done with textured lettering and imaging that gets you excited for what's inside. 


Upon opening this puck the first thing I noticed was how clear and light this oil is, it's a very pale yellow almost white. The texture is super creamy and buttery, with noticeable gloss from terp separation. This was cured to perfection.


The aroma is absolutely ridiculous and has to be one of my favorites of the year. Sweet candy like strains can be polarizing but I love it, and this is a love letter to the genre. It opens with bright cherry candy, then on the backend you get a subtle gassiness that breaks things up. It's incredibly strong and sweet. It makes its presence known when the puck is cracked. 

The taste follows right behind the smell. It opens with a super sweet, bright cherry flavor that's hard to process, it really reminds me of eating candy. Even on the backend when some of that fresh gas comes to the pallet the sweetness overwhelms it and stains your mouth. It always amazes me when producers can get this level of flavor into a product. 

The effect profile here is smooth and easy to keep coming back to. Mentally you get light euphoria and a general mood lift but it's not overly stimulating. The body is nice and relaxing but not at all sedating, it's more of a wash of ease and relaxation. 

Performance is always on point with Pure, and this one is no different. No excess residue and clean flavor even on low temp reheats. This is a easy recommendation.
