Dogwalker - Farm to Med Review

Image
Dogwalker      Farm to Med has been building a reputation over the years for quality top-shelf cuts, and their Dogwalker flower is a loud, sticky standout. While the exact genetics of this hybrid strain remain unknown , it delivers a classic OG funk that hits the nose before you even open the bag. This isn’t one you can keep low-key— the smell is intense, gassy, and unapologetically dank in all the best ways. If you love OG inspired strains you are gonna die for this one.      Visually, Dogwalker lives up to its top-shelf label. The buds are frosted with thick trichomes , with long strands of deep orange hairs twisting through each nug. Breaking one apart reveals a super sticky texture —almost wet to the touch and prone to clogging grinders with its dense resin. Another round of trimming could have been used to clean up some of the sugar leaves that dot these nugs. While it may feel like it could’ve used a longer cure, it smokes s...

Super Boof - Aurora Sky Review

Image
Super Boof           Super Boof is a standout hybrid that’s earned its reputation — and for good reason. A cross between Black Cherry Punch and Tropicana Cookies , this 2024 Leafly Strain of the Year delivers a smooth, flavorful experience from start to finish. Dominated by myrcene , it opens up with a loud, fruity aroma and a hint of citrus that lingers on the nose. The taste follows through just as strong, making it a true treat for terp lovers. Sourced from Aurora Sky , this one brings the flavor and the effects in equal measure.     Effects/terpenes      While Super Boof is technically a hybrid, it leaned noticeably sativa-dominant in my experience. The effects kicked in quickly with a strong sense of mental clarity, focus, and uplifted energy — ideal for daytime use or creative tasks. Myrcene leads the terpene profile here, but it doesn’t weigh things down the way heavier indicas do. Instead, it rounds out the experie...

Cherry Pie - Farm to Med Review

Image
Cherry Pie      Farm to Med has become one of my go-to spots for local flower, especially thanks to their weekly rotating sales that make it easy to try new strains without breaking the bank. This time around, I grabbed 7 grams of Cherry Pie for just $35 , a steal for a strain with this much character and visual appeal.      Cherry Pie is a balanced hybrid , born from a cross between Granddaddy Purple and Durban Poison —a pairing known for its mix of body relaxation and mental clarity. This cut leans slightly indica in its effects, making it great for evening wind-downs without full-on couch lock. The dominant terpenes here include myrcene , caryophyllene , and pinene , contributing to its calming, slightly euphoric vibe with a little mental uplift. Let's dive in deeper to this strain and talk terps, taste, and effects.          Effects/Terpenes           Cherry Pie leans slight...

Snapdragon Review - Orange Push Pop cartridge

Image
Orange Push Pop (Cartridge)        Snapdragon Hemp drops another sleeper hit with their Orange Push Pop disposable, priced at just $15 retail for this specific strain. Made with 100% cannabis-derived terpenes , this cart brings a clean and authentic flavor experience right out of the box. The oil looks super light and fresh, the first pull is smooth, and the taste hints at something sweet and lightly citrusy. For the price point, this one immediately had my attention—let’s get into the details.     Flavor -      The flavor on Orange Push Pop lives up to the name. Each pull brings a light, sweet orange note , not overpowering, but present enough to make every hit enjoyable. There’s a subtle candy-like smoothness to it that doesn’t feel artificial—just a soft citrusy finish that hangs around pleasantly on the exhale. It’s mellow and refreshing, not loud or overly complex, which makes it an easy all-day flavor if you like fruity strains ...

SnapDragon Review - Rainbow Runtz

Image
Rainbow Runtz                Rainbow Runtz is a hybrid strain that brings together two heavy hitters: Dosi Dos and Zkittlez . Picked up from Snapdragon Hemp , this resin immediately stands out with its golden, slightly crumbly texture that’s easy to work with and very appealing.      Terpene-wise, this strain leans into a calming profile rich in myrcene , limonene , and caryophyllene —a trio known for their relaxing, mood-lifting, and slightly spicy effects. The nose and flavor both lean closer to the Dosi Dos side of its lineage, with an  earthy aroma and a doughy taste  that lingers on the exhale.      Terps & Texture    With a mix of  myrcene , limonene , and a touch of caryophyllene , this blend brings on a deeply relaxing and mellow experience. The myrcene comes through loudest for me—ushering in that classic body calm, almost like a weighted blanket o...

Snapdragon Review - Dark Matter

Image
Dark Matter      This strain is quickly rocketing to the top of my favorites list. Dark Matter , from Snapdragon Hemp , is a unique cross between Cherry Thunderfuck and Rusty Haze —two distinct genetics that come together beautifully in this cut.      A hybrid that leans indica, Dark Matter owes much of its relaxing effect to a heavy dose of myrcene —a terpene often linked to that classic “couch-lock” sensation.      Crack open the jar, stir a bit, and you're greeted with an out-of-this-world nose: sharp, gassy cherries that hit you right away. It’s a wild and wonderful terpene combo that sets the tone before you even reach for your torch.     Myrcene!           What really sets Dark Matter apart is its terpene profile—especially its high myrcene content . Myrcene is one of the most common terpenes found in cannabis and is known for its musky, earthy aroma and deeply...

Farm To Med Review: "Blueberries"

Image
Blueberries! Imagine breaking open a beautiful round nug while being met with a medley of subtle fruit smells and light gassy notes. This offering from Farm To Med is a bag appeal monster with noticeably well developed trichomes! Its large nug structure and varying shades of green with orange hairs made Blueberries a must try for me. It's a huge added bonus that this flower is not shipped in but is instead grown fresh here in Tennessee! This strain advertises as a hybrid 50/50 yet I personally feel that it leans more towards the indica side.      My first impression of this strain was how well developed the trichomes are, even with the naked eye you can see hundreds of fully bulbed trich's covering the nugs from tip to stem. I also noticed in my review that the smell on this strain is very unique, offering a fruity/sweet scent that is distinctive to a handful of fruity strains I have tested, something to try for sure. This cut of blueberries was a dry brittl...
