Dogwalker - Farm to Med Review

     Dogwalker

Farm to Med has been building a reputation over the years for quality top-shelf cuts, and their Dogwalker flower is a loud, sticky standout. While the exact genetics of this hybrid strain remain unknown, it delivers a classic OG funk that hits the nose before you even open the bag. This isn’t one you can keep low-key—the smell is intense, gassy, and unapologetically dank in all the best ways. If you love OG inspired strains you are gonna die for this one.

Visually, Dogwalker lives up to its top-shelf label. The buds are frosted with thick trichomes, with long strands of deep orange hairs twisting through each nug. Breaking one apart reveals a super sticky texture—almost wet to the touch and prone to clogging grinders with its dense resin. Another round of trimming could have been used to clean up some of the sugar leaves that dot these nugs. While it may feel like it could’ve used a longer cure, it smokes surprisingly smooth and has full flavor.

    Effects/Terpenes

Dogwalker delivers exactly what you’d expect from a loud, top-shelf hybrid with strong OG characteristics. The effects hit fast, starting with a mental heaviness and calm that gradually works its way through the body. It’s not a knockout strain, but it definitely leans indica in feel, making it great for unwinding after a long day or zoning out with some music or a show.

While the exact lineage isn’t listed, the terpene profile suggests a heavy presence of myrcene and caryophyllene, both known for their relaxing, anti-inflammatory effects. There’s also likely some limonene in the mix, which may be helping cut through the heaviness with a slight mood lift. It’s a calming strain without couch-lock, and just a few hits set the tone for a chill evening.

    Flavor/Smell

If there’s one defining feature of Dogwalker, it’s that insane aroma. This is easily one of the loudest, gassiest strains I’ve ever cracked open. The scent is straight-up fuel and funk, a throwback to classic OGs that don’t try to be sweet or fruity—just pure diesel dankness. The second you break the seal, it punches out of the bag and fills the room. There is definitely no hiding this one.

The flavor follows through well, especially in a bong or bowl. That same gassy funk coats the palate, with a slightly earthy finish and a lingering sour note on the exhale. Because the cut is noticeably moist and sticky, it may not burn as well in joints or blunts without some extra drying time. For best results, pack a bowl or load up a bong and let it shine.

    Bag Appeal

From a visual and tactile standpoint, Dogwalker checks all the boxes for top-shelf flower. Each nug is coated in trichomes, giving it a sparkly, frosted appearance, while long, dark orange hairs weave through its chunky structure. The moisture content makes the buds super sticky, almost to the point where it clogs up grinders or sticks to your fingers.

At $13 a gram, this is one of Farm to Med’s premium options, and it looks the part. That said, it’s worth noting that some of their lower-tier strains come surprisingly close in quality, making Dogwalker a solid pickup for OG lovers, but maybe not the best value if you’re chasing pure bang for your buck.

Numeric Review

Cosmetic: 8.6 - Dogwalker brings a strong look with frosty trichomes and thick orange hairs, but the slightly wet cure and ultra-sticky texture make it a little more high-maintenance to handle. Still, it’s visually appealing and clearly handled with care.

Flavor: 9.6 - This strain shines loudest in the flavor and aroma department. Pure gas, straight OG funk, and a strong, lingering taste on every hit. Easily one of the most aromatic strains I’ve reviewed so far—if you love that old-school diesel, this one’s for you.

Effects: 9.1 - The high hits smooth and fast, with a balanced body and head relaxation that’s ideal for evening sessions or laid-back afternoons. Potent without being overpowering, thanks to a well-rounded terpene mix.

Overall Average: 9.1/10
