Smoke Honest - Grinder

Image
🚨 This is a shorter review for our first impressions, we will have a longer post once we have given this product a solid test.  This is Smoke Honest's premium grinder, it was sent as a sample to review. It arrived in a premium box that listed each component and was overall very well designed.  My first impression of this piece is the glass bottom chamber. This isn't your traditional 4 piece grinder, instead it combines the pollen and grounds together into the glass chamber.  There are a total of 4 pieces to this grinder, the 2 teeth plates, the glass dish at the bottom and uniquely a silicone ring that holds the top to the dish. At first I was skeptical about this design, I wasn't sure the dish would stay on securely but I was wrong. It's incredibly secure while at the same time easy enough to slip off that it doesn't become a hassle.  This grinder is large, about 4 inches across, giving it plenty of room for flower. The grind is...

Lucky Elk - Lemon OG Disposable Review

Image
Lucky Elk - Lemon OG  This is a sample from Lucky Elk, it arrived in a premium custom mylar bag with strain info and a QR code for labs.  The hardware is bare bones with this one, it reminds me of an old school juul system. It's very slim and easy to pocket, and the air path is at the top with a charging port at the bottom. There is a light at the bottom that blinks after 10 seconds.  The taste and aroma are very lemon heavy here. As soon as I took the rubber top off the device I could smell strong citrus terps, alongside some of that classic oil smell. The taste is lemon dominant with the top note and background being bright lemon freshness, there is a tiny gassy note near the end but it is overshadowed by the citrus.  The effects were very balanced and enjoyable at anytime of day. I got a bright uplifting headspace that winded down to a calming and slightly euphoric feeling. Physically I also felt a nice energetic buzz to start that shifted ...

Pure Canna Co - Gas Tanker

Image
This is a sample provided by the legendary people over at Pure Canna Co. It arrived in one of their premium vac sealed jars with an amazing design as always. I get extra excited anytime I see a puck of theirs.  The first impression opening the jar is how pale this rosin is. It's at that perfect phase of the cure where the outer most layer is glossy and wet but the inside is a stiff butter texture. It's very light in color, like a pale yellow almost white.  The aroma is just what the name suggests. The first note is a sharp chem like gas that almost stings the nose. The gas is rich and robust in smell and has a funky edge to it that reminds me of garlic or even onion. It's a smell that lingers long after opening the puck and reminds me of OG classics.  The taste follows the nose well. It's a savory flavor for sure that leads with a powerful wave of skunky gas. The gas flavor blends well with flavors that come after like onion and garlic and even a...

BBXLG - Rubber Tree

Image
This came as a sample from BBXLG and arrived freshly packed with a beautiful unit. It is an all glass chamber and mouthpiece with a rechargeable base. The battery is wrapped with a textured decal that is textured and feels very premium.  There is a noticeable aroma before you even take a hit from this device. It's chem like with notes of kerosene and rubber with a hint of sweetness on the end. Very exotic and unique to me.  The taste is out of this world in terms of uniqueness. As soon as you inhale you get a burnt rubber mixed with pungent diesel flavor that Ive never experienced before. It's rich and stained my mouth for minutes after the hit. On the backend I got a very subtle citrus flavor with some sweetness but it was overshadowed by the strong front note.  The effects here are on the heavier side. Mentally I got a nice heavy feeling behind the eyes that helped me relax and forget about the day. It's not super tiring but it's not bright eit...

Dr.Wonderstone - Moonbow

Image
This is a sample from Dr.Wonderstones most recent drop. This is an exclusive drop only available via Wonderstones site.  Opening the bag I was met with a stunning showcase of buds. They are medium to large in size and have a beautiful range of colors. The base is a darker green that fights with a deep purple for dominance, then the pistils are pale and vivid breaking up the deeper colors. The frost is very bright and has an almost purple hue, it's an all around beautiful flower.  The aroma is very involved but follows a straight forward path. It opens with a sweet citrus vibe that leans into tropical territory, then you start to get a floral note that is uniquely sweet. On the end there is a bit of warmth and pepper that is a great end cap.  The taste follows the smell but loses a bit of the detail. You still get a tasty citrus open that nice and balanced with its sweetness, but the floral note was lost. The exhale gives you a slightly peppery and ...

BBXLG - Triple Burger 🍔

Image
This arrived as a sample from BBXLG. It came in a very nice puck that has an elegant design that showcases the brand. On the bottom the strain name, %, cross info, and a QR code for labs are listed.  Opening this puck the first thing I noticed was how alive the oil looks. The color is super light and is almost transparent. The consistency is very loose and has a lot of terpene separation. On the tool the oil is very spreadable, like a warm butter.  The aroma that came from the puck surprised me at first. I was expecting pure savory notes but I was wrong. The first note I got was slightly sweet and musky, not super sharp but it lingers. There is also a slight onion and mustard aroma that hearkens back to the burger family, it's powerful but doesn't overpower that sweet and gassy note.  The flavor is much more savory than the aroma. On my first taste I got next to no sweetness like I got on the smell. It opens with a slightly peppery and savory onion...

Alderson Family Farms - AF

Image
Alderson Family Farms - AF This is a sample from Alderson Family Farms, it arrived in a vacuum sealed bag and has clear labeling on the puck.  The first thoughts I had taking a peek at this live was how saucy it is. At room temp it has a nice slow movement to it, but remains thick. It's a deep golden color with a slight sugar consistency.  The aroma is sharp and pungent, I was very happily surprised with how strong it is. The opening is gas forward, it's strong and reminds me of OG strains. On the backend I got more gas but also a warm floral note, kinda grassy or woodsy. Overall I really enjoyed the smells from this one.  The taste switches things up from the smell a tad. You still get that very pungent and nose burning gas but the opening taste is a bit earthy. It reminds me of a dark forest. On the exhale you do get some of the floral notes from the smell, but gas rains supreme overall here.  The effects are somewhere between balanced and h...

Value Bud - Pink Cookies

Image
This sample arrived in a black pop top container with clear branding. It lists the strain and that it's federally legal hemp.  The first thing I noticed popping the top on this one was how great the structure on the buds are. They are large, long, and fat. The frost is dense and has head to toe coverage. The trim is beautifully done. This is some very beautiful flower. The forest green base gives a classic look when paired with the bright orange pistils.  The smell on this one is classic. You get a nice sweet doughy open from the cookies side that reminds me of a bakery. On the open you also get a nice baseline of gas that carries through the endnote. It's slightly floral and sweet on the backend.  The taste mimics the doughy sweet vibe very well. The first draw you take will remind you of a fudge shop or candy store. The flavor turns gassy and floral near the end. You get a rose like flavor with a subtle layer of gassiness that's satisfying. ...

Smoky Mountain CBD - Lobster Butter

Image
This was a sample provided by Smokey Mountain CBD. It arrived in a sealed white mylar bag, it feels premium and has strain name, weight, store branding, and a QR code listed.  Opening this bag the first thing that I noticed about this flower was its beautiful balance of creams and greens in the color palette. There is a range of greens and even some plum color. The darker pistils also give this flower a very unique look overall. The frost is here but less noticeable until you crack open the buds. The aroma of lobster butter is definitely on the savory side. The first note I got was herby like fresh garlic and thyme with a little wiff of butter. On the backend I got a peppery earth like note that sealed the savory deal. This is a very unique profile to me and I was surprised how much I liked it.  The taste is similar to the smell but loses a bit of that sharp herb vibe. It opens slightly garlicky but very rich and buttery. You get some gassiness and pepp...

Pure Canna Co - Cherry Poppers

Image
This sample arrived in one of Pure Canna Co's now unmistakably designed pucks. It's beautifully done with textured lettering and imaging that gets you excited for what's inside.  Upon opening this puck the first thing I noticed was how clear and light this oil is, it's a very pale yellow almost white. The texture is super creamy and buttery, with noticeable gloss from terp separation. This was cured to perfection. The aroma is absolutely ridiculous and has to be one of my favorites of the year. Sweet candy like strains can be polarizing but I love it, and this is a love letter to the genre. It opens with bright cherry candy, then on the backend you get a subtle gassiness that breaks things up. It's incredibly strong and sweet. It makes its presence known when the puck is cracked.  The taste follows right behind the smell. It opens with a super sweet, bright cherry flavor that's hard to process, it really reminds me of eating candy. Even o...

Lucky Elk - Diamond Cut Disposable (Sour Diesal)

Image
Lucky Elk - Diamond Cut Disposable (Sour Diesel) This device showed up in a premium white mylar bag that is beautifully branded and has a nice finish. Printed on the bag is all the important information you could need from brand info, QR code for labs, how to open the package, and the strain and weight info.  Pulling the disposable out of the package the first thing I noticed was how small and discreet this unit is. If you've ever seen juul vapes this looks almost exactly like that. It's solid black with 0 branding printed on it, there is a small oil window to check your level, and the mouthpiece. Sneaking a hit of this is possible anywhere due to its design.  Taking the rubber stopper out of the device revealed a light oil aroma from the device that smelled lightly citrusy and sharp. It's always impressive to me when you can smell the oil from a disposable before taking a hit.  The taste is great for a diamond based disposable! I get d...

Black Tie CBD - Cereal Milk Review

Image
Black Tie CBD - Cereal Milk  This was a sample provided by Black Tie CBD and it came in a very nice box with strain name, QR code, and store branding.  Opening the puck the first thing I noticed was the texture of this rosin. It's buttery but stiff, it's not super smooth at room temps and holds its peaks. There is a slight greasy film over the wax that shows it has a good amount of terpene content. Overall a nice looking product.  The smell of this wax is out of this world. It's super gassy and pungent. The first thing that hits the nose is a fresh gassy smell, like a forest meets diesel vibe. On the exhale you get some sweetness and a little hint of woody cinnamon. It reminds me of a cake. It's not overly sweet, but very enjoyable.  The taste from this rosin is very similar to the smell. It opens with that same fresh gassy note, but is overall a bit more sweet. On the exhale I got a woody cinnamon note that follows the same sweetness, very ca...

BBXLG - Bacio Gelato Review

Image
This sample arrived in a premium jar that has a nice weight to it, on the label it has strain info, store branding, QR code for labs, and even info on the grow method. This is a luxury presentation and you can tell thought and effort went into it.  You can find BBXLG's products here! The first thing I noticed when opening the jar was how beautiful the flower looks. The structure is very unique with smaller sized buds that have a fuzzy spade shape, they are very uniform and have a perfect trim. The range of colors complement each other as greens flow into deep purples broken up by bright orange hairs. The frost is head to toe with a silver sheen. Certified bag appeal monster.  The smell is very similar to other Bacio's I've tried but with a sharp fuel note. The aroma starts very sweet and doughy with a light berry aroma, it reminds me of a pink donut. On the exhale you get a bit of dank fuel that's sharp and lingers in your nose. I lov...

Crysp - Black Panther Tier 2 Rosin Review

Image
This was a sample provided by Crysp, it arrived in a premium textured mylar jar. The jar has the strain name, tier, and weight listed.  Opening the puck the first thing I noticed was the smell, as soon as the top was off I got an intense aroma of pepper and fresh earth, almost like a forest after a rain. The smell evolved into a slightly sweet gas near the end. Overall a very welcoming and slightly complex profile.  The taste here is very good for tier 2. On the inhale you get a warm peppery note that retains some of the earthiness from the smell, it's woody. On the exhale I got a slightly sweet gas vibe that was very enjoyable to end on. The flavor is rich and full bodied.  The appearance of the rosin is about what you'd expect for a solid tier 2. It's a tanish gold that's matte and not shiny. The texture is close to a crumble at room temp, slightly dry but as it warms it loosened up to a stiff butter texture that was easy to work with and revea...
