Sherblatto - Flannel Boyz Review

This sample came in a plastic jar with store branding and strain info printed on it. Inside is a 3.5 with a humidity pack to keep everything fresh. Flannel Boyz always comes through with premium looking packaging and includes a humidity pack. 

The first impression after cracking the jar was the nug structure. These are beautiful picture worthy nugs that are very large and round. They have a pinecone structure where the bud is fatter at the bottom and tapers off. Decently dense with a texture that breaks off in chunks. 


Overall appearance is great. Large nugs with light cream colors and some fiery pistils. Frost level is average with enough to give the buds that creamy haze like look. 

The smell on this one is strong, as soon as you crack the jar the room is filled with a lasting scent. It's a mildly sweet gas that's softly blended with a strong lemon terp on the inhale. It almost reminds me of sweet lemon bread. The exhale is also soft gas but with some unique sweet notes that reminds me of a bakery. 

The taste follows the smell nicely but not 1:1. You get that soft sweet gas as a background for the entire flavor profile, but on the inhale you get more baked lemon citrus, then on the exhale the sweetness comes from another fruit like apple or apricot. It's unique and not overly sweet which I love. 

Effects are solid, I got a tingly and buzzed headspace that gave me energy and made boring everyday task much more enjoyable. Very nice uplifting mental effects. Physically I felt a boost of energy at first that settles into a light relaxing feeling. There is nothing here that will glue you to the floor, but it will have your body feeling light and easy.
