    This week we’re checking out a potent and flavorful hybrid called Banana Fire Breath, sourced from Farm to Med. A cross of OGKB 2 and Banana OG, this strain blends dessert-like sweetness with deep gas and earth tones, creating a uniquely funky, fuel-forward experience. Known in the grow world for its hash potential, terp variety, and strong yields, Banana Fire Breath has earned a place among sedative hybrids with a bite. With this cut, I found a delicious smoke, a soothing high, and only one real complaint: the trim could have been tighter. Let’s get into it.


    Taste & Aroma

    This strain brings one of the more complex and satisfying terp profiles I’ve tried in a while. The nose out of the jar mixes overripe banana, rich earthy kush, and sharp fuel—a funky-sweet aroma that hints at the OG lineage beneath the fruit. On the inhale, expect a sweet, creamy banana taste up front, while the exhale leans spicy and herbal, leaving a smooth gassy finish. The flavor is strong, consistent through the bowl, and lingers on the tongue, making each session feel indulgent.

    Effects & Terpenes

    This cut lives up to its Fire Breath name in the effects department. Within a few minutes, I felt a warm, sedative wave start to melt over me. It’s not knockout-strong, but definitely evening or end-of-day material. Mentally calming and physically heavy, this strain would be great for stress relief, winding down, or easing into sleep. Based on aroma and effects, Myrcene, Caryophyllene, and Limonene are likely at play, providing both mood elevation and physical ease. I’d also recommend this strain for medical users looking for relief from tension, anxiety, or discomfort.

    Bag Appeal & Trim Quality

    Visually, Banana Fire Breath brings a lot to love. The buds are dense and coated in trichomes, with layered hues of light and forest green, broken up by scattered orange pistils. Up close, the resin content shines. My only real critique is the trim quality—it’s a little looser than I’d like, with some extra sugar leaf that could’ve been cleaned up for a more refined finish. That said, it’s still a solid presentation, and for the price and potency, I wasn’t too bothered.
