Blueberry Muffin (Farm To Med Cut)

     Blueberry Muffin

Back again with another look at Blueberry Muffin — this time from Farm to Med, and it’s a cut worth talking about. Previously, we reviewed a version of this indica-dominant hybrid sourced from Top Shelf Bud, which leaned heavy on that baked-good sweetness. This version keeps the strain’s core profile but brings its own unique twist that may appeal even more to fans of gassy, berry-heavy flower. At $42 a quarter, it’s also a great value from a trusted local source.

    Taste & Smell

The most noticeable difference between this and the Top Shelf cut is the aroma and flavor profile. While the Top Shelf version smelled like a pastry fresh from the oven, Farm to Med’s offering pushes that note back and brings forward a strong gassy berry nose. On the exhale, that gas dominates, giving it a much heavier, more diesel-forward finish. It’s a profile that may appeal more to smokers who lean toward OG and fuel-heavy cultivars, while still keeping a hint of the classic muffin sweetness.

    Effects & Terpenes

This cut of Blueberry Muffin, an indica-dominant hybrid from Blueberry and Purple Panty Dropper, leans more into its relaxing side compared to the one previously reviewed from Top Shelf. The effects set in with a heavy, calming head high followed by a full-body melt that made for a deeply soothing experience. I noticed a comfortable pressure behind the eyes and found myself getting noticeably more sedated than with the Top Shelf version.

The dominant terpenes—Myrcene, Caryophyllene, and Pinene—support this cut’s mellow, body-heavy effects. Myrcene enhances the relaxing sensation, Caryophyllene may help ease tension, and Pinene adds a touch of clarity. The terp profile complements the strain’s lineage well, making this version feel more sedative and full-bodied than the sweeter, lighter Top Shelf cut.

    Bag Appeal & Visuals

Visually, this batch is absolutely stunning. It’s noticeably frostier than the Top Shelf version, with fully formed trichome heads blanketing the surface. The buds are dense and beautifully structured with a mix of light, medium, and dark greens, and plenty of bright orange hairs poking through. It’s one of the more visually impressive cuts I’ve had from Farm to Med — seriously high-end look for such a budget-friendly price.

  • Cosmetic: 9.7/10
This cut is gorgeous — thick trichome coverage, rich colors, and an eye-catching trim job. True top shelf appeal.

  • Flavor/Smell: 8.9/10
Not quite the dessert-sweetness of the Top Shelf version, but the gassy berry profile is strong and memorable. Some may even prefer it.

  • Effects: 9.4/10
Deeply relaxing with a heavy body effect and some drowsiness — a great indica experience, ideal for nighttime use or recovery.

Overall Average Score: 9.3/10
