Panty Dropper Review – Flannel Boyz

Intro
    Flannel Boyz sent over another strain for review, and this time it’s Panty Dropper, a cross featuring Purple Haze. Known for its bold looks and reputation as a heavy indica-leaning flower, this strain stands out in both appearance and effects. Like the other samples, it came professionally packaged in their heavy-duty paper jars with a Boveda pack for freshness, which is becoming a signature of the brand.



Appearance & Aroma
    Panty Dropper makes a strong impression right away. The nugs are fluffy yet sticky, with a natural shape that doesn’t feel overworked in trimming. The color palette leans very dark purple with a snowy frost coating that sits easily at a 9/10 level. Visually, this one looks like it belongs on a top shelf.

    On the nose, it hits hard with a pungent diesel-forward punch that quickly fills the room. Beneath that, there are layers of cream, floral earthiness, and a faint sweetness that add some depth. Once the flower is broken apart, those cream notes deepen, and the overall smell intensifies into something rich and robust.



Flavor & Smoke Quality
    The inhale starts with that unmistakable skunky gas flavor, thick and full. On the exhale, the cream and floral sweetness step forward and balance the profile out nicely. While not the most complex strain Flannel Boyz has sent my way, it’s certainly flavorful.

    The smoke was easy on the throat and showed a solid cure. Ash came out mostly white (about 80%), not quite as pristine as some of their other offerings but still well above average.

Effects
    Panty Dropper wastes no time. The effects set in immediately, beginning with a heavy body high that makes its intentions clear. This is a relaxing, nighttime strain that drops the eyelids, relaxes the body, and leaves you euphoric in that classic stoney haze. Couch lock is very real here — in my case, I actually fell asleep with the lights still on.

    The mental euphoria lasted about two hours, while the body effects stretched closer to three, giving a lingering sense of relaxation long after the head high tapered off. For most people, this is strictly a PM strain, best suited for winding down, easing into bed, or shutting the day off entirely.

Value & Final Thoughts
    Panty Dropper is offered in 3.5g, 7g, and 14g options, with eighths going for around $30 (and the price improving with larger amounts). At that price, it brings solid value, especially for indica lovers who want potency with a unique look and strong terpene presence.

    Compared to other Flannel Boyz strains I’ve tried, Panty Dropper leans heavier on the indica side with a slightly less refined burn, but it makes up for it with eye-catching purple buds, strong gas-forward aroma, and effects that leave no doubt about its power.

Closing
    This strain isn’t for everyone — it’ll hit beginners harder than they expect and can easily put a casual smoker to bed before they’re ready. But for experienced users who love deep, relaxing indicas, Panty Dropper lives up to its name.

    Blueberries! Imagine breaking open a beautiful round nug while being met with a medley of subtle fruit smells and light gassy notes. This offering from Farm To Med is a bag appeal monster with noticeably well developed trichomes!
