Round 2 of 3 – Rosslyn Review Series

Sample provided by Rosslyn — all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Packaging & Presentation

Rosslyn keeps consistency at the forefront with their concentrate packaging. Just like our last review, this 1-gram Live Rosin came in a durable, terp-preserving container designed to keep the product stable and fresh. The jar was sealed inside protective packaging and included a QR code linking directly to verified lab results — always a professional touch that sets the tone before the jar even opens.

First Impressions

As soon as I cracked the seal, Lime Frosting lived up to its name. This strain immediately showed signs of being terp-heavy, with visible pooling along the surface. The rosin is light in color, wet-looking, and has that shiny, buttery texture that scoops like warm butter. Despite the glossy appearance, it’s not runny — instead, it’s thick and stable, exactly what you want from quality solventless rosin.

Aroma & Terpene Profile

The aroma is a showstopper. Sweet and zesty lime bursts out of the jar right away, followed by a classic gassy hash undertone that gives depth and richness to the overall scent. As it warms slightly, the aroma intensifies dramatically, filling the air with bright citrus and creamy sweetness.
Dominant terpenes are listed as Limonene, Caryophyllene, and Linalool, and that combination shines here — sweet, citrusy, and clean with just a subtle hint of spice near the finish.

Flavor & Dabbing Experience

At around 490°F, this rosin performed beautifully on the e-rig. The vapor was smooth, flavorful, and gentle on the lungs, even more so than the Peach Panther. Each pull delivered sweet lime and citrus up front, followed by that gassy undertone and a soft, creamy finish.

Post-session cleanup confirmed the quality — the quartz stayed clean after one swab, no dark spots, no char. This is a clean, solventless product through and through.

Effects

The onset began within 5–10 minutes, starting with a focused head buzz and a wave of body energy that felt both uplifting and calming. The longer it went on, the more balanced the experience became — great for daytime focus or light creative work, with just enough body relaxation to keep things mellow.
The entourage effect was clear here: the synergy of the terpenes and cannabinoids produced a bright, euphoric high that carried on for about two hours.

Overall Impression

What stood out the most about Lime Frosting was how terp-heavy it is — the aroma and flavor are truly top-tier. This strain now ranks in my top 3 for taste and terp profile, a rare combination of sweet lime zest, creamy fruit, and subtle spice that lingers long after each hit.

At around $30 a gram, the value here is unbeatable. For a select wash rosin, it rivals the flavor and smoothness of many higher-priced craft washes, proving that more expensive doesn’t always mean better — especially when a producer knows how to get the most out of their material.

This is a strain I’ll absolutely be picking up again. Perfect for anyone who wants a premium solventless experience without overspending.
