Lemon Cherry Gelato - Black Tie CBD Review
Lemon Cherry Gelato Flower Review
First Impressions
This is an indoor flower and you can tell right away by how premium it looks. I received a 3.5 g sample and it arrived in a very premium glass jar with strain information, a QR code, and site details printed on the label. The packaging immediately stood out to me. You hardly ever see glass jars used for flower anymore, and it gives the whole product a luxury feel while also helping keep the herbs fresh.
Appearance
These are what I like to call show stopper buds. The nugs are large and naturally shaped with good structure. They have solid density but they are not rock hard. When you press them there is a healthy give that lets you know the cure is right.
The color on this flower is beautiful. At the core of the buds you get darker greens, and layered over that is a deep purple that really stands out. Smaller but noticeable pistils break everything up with a darker orange tone.
The frost coverage runs from top to bottom. There are dense collections of trichomes that give the buds a silver look under the light. Some trichome heads are easy to see while others look slightly less developed, but the overall coverage is impressive.
For this tier of flower the trim is very acceptable. You can find a few sugar leaves here and there, but they are small and very few in number. They do not take away from the visual quality and they are not enough to make the smoke harsher.
Freshness and Breakdown
The moisture level here is right where I like it. The buds are not dry enough to crumble, but they still snap when bent with just a little give. Handling them leaves your fingers nice and stinky which is always a good sign.
When grinding, the flower breaks down into a fluffy consistency and sticks together nicely in the grinder.
Aroma
Sweet cherry and citrus were the first notes that hit my nose when opening the jar.
This flower definitely has layers to it. The first impression is a super sweet cherry mixed with a tart citrus note. After that settles in, you start picking up that unique fruity gas that strains like Lemon Cherry Gelato and Super Boof are known for.
In terms of loudness, I would give the aroma a 9 out of 10. It is strong, it lingers in the room, and it sticks around for a while after the jar is opened.
Smoking Experience
This flower burned really well thanks to the superb cure. The ash stayed clean with no black ash and the material fully combusted.
The smoke itself is rich and full without being rough on the lungs. One thing I noticed is that this strain produces a lot of resin, which adds to that dense smoke feel.
Effects
The effects started off stimulating mentally for me. I felt a nice uplift in mood and energy early on. After some time it slowly transitioned into a more relaxed overall vibe both mentally and physically.
It is the kind of profile that stays balanced and enjoyable, and I could personally see myself enjoying this flower almost any time of day.
Final Thoughts
What really sets this flower apart for me is the quality of the cure and the premium packaging. The glass jar keeps everything fresh and gives the product a much more professional and luxury presentation compared to most flower packaging on the market.
If you are someone who enjoys Lemon Cherry Gelato, I would definitely recommend trying this cut.
