BBXLG - OG Sour Fresh Press

This was picked up at the NC Canna Market last weekend, it was BBXLG 's last single gram puck and I instantly knew I had to grab it. This is my second ever experience with fresh press and my first review of it. 
Opening the puck you are met with a pool of rosin with a light amber hue. It looks very glossy and much wetter than it is. The texture is semi runny and semi sticky with a slight sugar look, it does not hold shape at room temp. Holding the puck to the light you get an idea of the clarity of this product. 
As soon as the jar is cracked the room is filled with an intense sharp fuel aroma. It's loud and immediately noticeable. The gas is very OG reminiscent with a sharpness and richness that gives it character. After the gas lessons up you get a softer sour note that breaks up the gas beautifully. It's slightly fruity, like citrus meets tropical fruits. 

The flavor is also on another level. Explaining the intensity is hard but imagine licking a live plant from your favorite grow and you would have somewhat of an idea. Extremely clean flavor that is rich in sharp gassy notes and subtle sour fruit, this is a go to if you like OG. 

Effects are very clean and mentally focused. I felt an energetic buzz that in turn boosted my attitude and motivation for the day. Physically I felt light waves of euphoria and a general sense of tranquility. This is great for a slow day where you need some extra morale. 

Overall a very quality product that was obviously made with great care. From the visible clues to the intense nose and aroma there is no mistaking this fresh press as anything else. If you are an OG lover, this might be your soulmate.
