HRC - Banana Burger

This is a personal pickup from the awesome people at White Ash Reserve. With HRC I always go for genetics that sound interesting and this one caught my eye due to the amazing experiences I've had with banana terps in the past with this producer. 
Opening the puck you are met with an almost glowing blonde hash that has a very light yellow hue. There is a small layer of terp separation on the top that gives the puck a glossy sheen. Mixing up the puck you are left with a stiff butter texture that is in between hard and soft. This puck holds its shape at room temps. 

The smell from this one is absolutely fantastic and reminds me why I'm so passionate about this craft. As soon as the top is lifted you get a creamy doughy gas that is sweet but not sugary, it reminds me instead of ripe fruit or honey. The gas is rounded off by the cream and loses some intensity but gains complex depth. There are minor notes of soft tropic fruits like guava and melon as well. 

The flavor is right on par with the nose and just what I was hoping for based on the genetics. The inhale is sweet and creamy without having that candy flavor, it's more natural and soft. There is a distinct banana note that adds more cream and sweetness to the pot while complementing the gas. This is a rich puck that will have you breathing out of your nose every hit. 

Effects are solid and relatively balanced. Mentally I felt a light euphoria and a pleasant pressure behind my eyes that helped calm my thought train. Physically this one is a creeper, it starts with tingly bodily euphoria that then slowly transforms into a deep relaxation. It's not quite sleepy but very chill. 

Overall this is one of my favorite pucks of the year. The flavor and nose are immaculate and have such good depth that I could probably never get tired of. I am biased as I love banana terps but this one is just done right. If I ever get the chance this is an immediate reorder.
