BBXLG - Toad Venom

This is a much awaited review for the highly anticipated toad! We picked this up via a personal order from BBXLG and they delivered in a big way. The packaging as always is top tier with all the info you could want including a QR code to labs. 
Opening the lid you are met with medium to small sized nugs that have a soft rounded shape. The color is a very pale green with a silver hue from the immense amount of trichs. There are also some orange pistils here but they are somewhat minor. The texture is nice and crisp without being dry, the perfect cure. 
As you pop the top your nose gets flooded with a barrage of smells. The top note on the inhale is a pungent gas with hints of diesel that then shifts subtlety to lime. Then on the exhale you get a sweet minty and doughy note that reminds me of a mint flavored sheet cake. This is an extremely complex profile with lots going on. 

The flavor is similar to the smell with a few differences. Firstly on the nose the lime takes a backseat to the gas but on the palate it's more citrus forward. You do still get a doughy mint dessert finish that is super unique, but the gas note almost falls off. 

Effects lean on the heavier side with my eyes getting low and heavy and a weighted stoney feeling washing over me. I also felt a good dose of euphoria mentally and physically, this one didn't quite couch lock me but it was close!

Overall this is an extremely interesting strain taste and nose wise, I've rarely seen flower with this much going on with it. I can't speak on if the hype is deserved or not but I can say I think it would be very hard to dislike this profile based on how much character it has.
